Kumiko Oumae and Tomoe Kabe are chosen to lead the new members of first-year students starting from April of the new academic year. Since the Kitauji High School Concert Band Club won the qualifying tournament, there are a number of first-year students join the club, including Kanade Hisaishi, Mirei Suzuki, Satsuki Suzuki and Motomu Tsukinaga. Between the Sunrise Festival, chair placement auditions, and the competition, a number of problems quickly begin to arise. Can the club win the gold medal in the national competition successfully?
